The phone rang on Tuesday evening just as I was preparing to head to Visitation. The person on the other end was a lady in my church who has Cerebral Palsy and was the one I had worked for as a personal attendant for 18 months. She had been on my mind recently and I had wanted to spend some time together with her, but trying to merge her schedule and my schedule is pretty much next to impossible. She asked me if I would mind filling in a couple of mornings for her, since her morning attendant was going on vacation.
Now isn't that like the Lord?!?! Not only do I get to help her out by filling a need, but I'll also get paid and get to spend time with her too! Talk about giving me the desire of my heart!
So when I got to her place on Friday morning, she asked me how long I had worked for her. I started in March of 2005, so it is three years this month. Because I was still on her payroll, I also got a raise:o). Isn't God good?
I read a verse the other morning that said "Order my steps...". The Lord is certainly doing that ~ just a step at a time!

We sure do serve a BIG God! It always blesses my heart that He cares about even the tiniest of details in our lives. We sure are privileged to serve such a Big God.
