I cannot believe I am at the end of yet another week, but the calendar doesn't lie. This week has been full of blessings: 1.) in my devotions 2.) in my relationships 3.) in my school life 4.) in my finances.
One particular blessing I had was from today. About a month ago, I filled out an online informational about finding cheaper car insurance. I have been so blessed to only have two monthly bills: cell phone and car insurance. Well from that online informational, I got tons of insurance companies trying to give me a "good deal". I didn't rush into anything, but spent some time praying for the Lord's direction and wisdom in sorting through all the companies!
PRAISE THE LORD He did! Today I signed on with a new insurance company for a whole year AND I'm paying less for a year than what I was paying with another company for 6 months! As I sat at the insurance place, the lady just kept finding discounts (I am so thankful to the LORD for keeping me safe as I drive! That really helped my rates with no accidents or tickets...) and I was able to pay the year in full, so now I don't have to worry about that bill. Plus when I went to cancel my other policy, the guy was asking me the typical "why-are-you-switching" question and when I explained that I got a cheaper rate with ____________ company, he told me that they were an excellent company with which to be insured!
Isn't the Lord good?!? I do not deserve it, but all that extra money that would have gone to my monthly car insurance bill will (Lord willing) go towards my Thailand trip!
It's just a step at a time... but that's all it needs to be:o).
