I read that verse in my devotions on Saturday, and on Sunday morning the Lord gave me a blessing. One of the ladies at church walked up to me and handed me an envelope from herself and her husband and said the Lord laid it on their hearts to give towards my Thailand trip. Tears sprang to my eyes as I thanked this dear lady. When I opened the card, I was completely taken back by the sacrificial gift that they gave! Their heart for missions is so evident and I was the one blessed by it.
A second blessing came while I was talking with a lady who sits near me in church. We were talking about Thailand and she said that she prays for me each morning and evening. Wow! Nothing will ever happen without prayer, and it is a comfort to know people are praying.
I also got a birthday card from an older lady who said she was praying for my Thailand trip. Having people pray is what is going to make my time in Thailand effective.
So as you can see, God is still at work. Isn't it sweet to know that He is keeping my every step?
I just keep trustin' my Lord as I walk along!

wow! what a blessing! i am headed back to china this summer for about 6 weeks... i am excited already how God is answering prayers and can't wait to see how he takes care of the rest of the details.
