This little blog'o' mine might seem to be lacking in posts recently (because it is) but that's not because God isn't working (because He is)! But my one dilemma is this: how do you post as a blessing what was heard in a message? Or two. Or twenty. I'm dead serious when I say that each and every message I've been hearing recently has been dealing with a certain issue in my life.

For example.

Tonight Pastor preached on turning life experiences into PEARLs:

P - articulars

E - xamine

A -ction

R -esponse

L - ife Lesson

But the one truth that seemed to be hammered all night long was the one that screamed: trust! Obey! Pastor was talking about how God takes us on "obedience" tests and I thought to myself, "Yup, that's exactly what God is doing." This is a test right now, and I don't mind admitting it's out of my comfort zone.

I can almost hear the Lord saying, "Aha! That's where you need to be!"

So my blessing for tonight does tie into going back to Thailand. It is not a flashy blessing or an obvious one, but it's usually the ones that had to be dug out that are most valued. Perhaps down the road I'll share what it is I'm being dealt with, but for now, I am resting in the fact that each and every step I take is truly ordered by the Lord!
